    • 15 Construction students acquired Pre-apprenticeship Certificate Training CORE Industry Recognized Certificates (PACT CORE IRC's)

    • Mr. Stuber, Construction Instructor, worked with the Associated Landscape Contractors of Colorado receiving $60,000 in labor and materials donated by various community partners to create an Outdoor Landscaping Lab with construction students

    • 1st place regional winner
    • 6 student participants
  • 2015 Auto Bowl - select students competed against local seasoned auto mechanics in engine building
    • $15,000 Intellitec Auto Scholarship awarded to participating student
    • $3000 Tool Box awarded to participating student
  • Annual Auto Rodeo where students showcase their skills to parents, community members, and district guests.

100% of students feel supported by staff and school leadership.

100% of families feel that their child is supported academically and high expectations for students are set by staff.

100% of staff felt that they received valuable feedback and recognition from administration.

Improvement Opportunities

  • Our lowest was College and Career Preparation- 67% of students felt that more opportunities for Post Workforce Readiness need to be provided.
  • School Maintenance was our lowest score- 50% families felt that classrooms were not heated adequately during winter months.
  • Staff-Family Engagement- 67% of staff felt the need to increase family, teacher engagement opportunities at Career Readiness Academy.

Next Steps

  • Develop strategies for 2024-25 school year to include Post Graduate Workforce Career Certification opportunities for CRA students.
  • Career Readiness Academy will be moving to a new home next school year that will provide facilities conducive to the learning environment and student ownership.
